Sony also wants jazz up smart watch market by releasing a new product called SmartWatch. This device has a multi-touch OLED screen size 1.3 inches which gives you access to the smartphone for functions such as phone, messages, music as well as for social networking applications like Twitter and Facebook.
Just like MOTOACTIV, Sony’s SmartWatch also powered by Android, but with Honeycomb version. The difference with MOTOACTIV, in SmartWatch you can download the application directly from the Android Market. Of course, the application must be fit with the screen size and capabilities of the hardware in this device.

Unlike MOTOACTIV, Sony SmartWatch can be used on the wrist like a clock and can also clipped off to elsewhere, such as clothes or bags. Device is also resistant to splashes and dust /sand.
