SolarKindle – Solar Cover For Kindle – CES 2012
SolarFocus from Taiwan, announced SolarKindle, on the front cover for the Kindle which are equipped with high-performance solar panels miniature that can recharge the integrated battery.Solar Kindle then have a double function: Protection for Amazon’s ebook reader and battery fitted to the series 1.500mAh, also integrates an LED light to allow reading in the dark.
The manufacturer claims that one hour of solar charging provides range of 3 days of reading with the Kindle. SolarKindle can also recharge the battery via Integrated USB port, the energy is obtained can then be used to recharge the electronic book reader to power the LED lamp in the cover present.
SolarKindle will be made available first only in the U.S. market from mid of January, at a list price of $ 79.99.
